When I was a freshman in high school, we were changing int he bathroom for gym and a senior asked if anyone had an extra pad. This girl goes, “No. I’m not fucking twelve.”

NEVER SAY THAT. Some women physically can’t use tampons. And personally, I have anxiety about having them in all the time because of toxic shock, so I occasionally go a couple hours with just a pad. Don’t make fun of anyone for this

The pressure to wear tampons/expectation that you have a “reason” for not wearing them is the weirdest fucking thing. I don’t know how to explain it. I don’t understand why people act like this.

My mom’s uterus is tilted oddly which makes everythign painful. She can’t wear tampons because they hurt. Sex is agony and she has never once enjoyed it and became apathetic to it very quickly. Child labor is absolute torture. Someone people can’t use tampons.
